IMAX China plans nearly all 800 screens for the 14 August opening
The IMAX China chief said most or all of the network would play the film in its first week. Nolan and Damon were due in Beijing on 30 July for a red carpet at the China National Film Museum.
The Beijing event was announced as planned; the desk has not confirmed it took place.
