The biggest-budget title on sale at the Cannes market
Lionsgate took international rights to Cannes. Deadline reported a budget north of $150M and a German ask above $20M, which it called close to a record for one territory. Lionsgate declined to comment.
Why it matters
The pre-sale priced the franchise in the open market and set up the international distributor roster that runs the film's local campaigns.
