Private Manhattan party previews the teaser for press and influencers
Gunn, Safran, Gillespie and Alcock showed the teaser at an influencer-studded event in New York, four days before it went online. Gillespie called it "an anti-hero story." Alcock let slip that David Corenswet's Superman appears in the film.
Why it matters
Creators and press saw the footage first and set the framing before the public did.
