Title revealed in a Nintendo Direct on the eve of Mario's 40th anniversary
Nintendo opened a Direct with a short teaser that panned from Peach's castle up into space and named the sequel The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The six lead voice actors from 2023 were confirmed to return, with release set for 3 April 2026 in the US and 24 April in Japan.
