All five films free on Fandango's app for the last two weeks of October
Fandango and Lionsgate made the five earlier films free with ads on Fandango's streaming app from 16 to 31 October, the first time all five were free together. The aim is ticket sales for the new film. Versant adds promotion across its networks.
Why it matters
The ticketing platform became the place to rewatch, so the path from the old films to a ticket stays inside one app.
