Tokyo fan event on Marine Day with the Japanese voice cast
Ahead of Japan's 31 July release, Johnson and Laga'aia walked a blue carpet at Yebisu Garden Place and attended a screening at Toho Cinemas Hibiya. Maui's Japanese voice, Matsuya Onoe, played taiko and Moana's, TSUZUMI, sang "How Far I'll Go".
Why it matters
Japan opened three weeks late, so its tour stop came after the US release and paired the stars with the local dub cast.
